Initial Brainstorm and thoughts


Most good advertising uses a bit of metaphor.
I’ll Watched the series ‘MAD Men’ for inspiration as this has been on my list of things to do for a long while now after it has been recommended by several people who work within the advertising industry.
Most good advertising uses a bit of metaphor, symbolism and underlining connotations.
For example when Mcdonalds started selling coffee, they used a coffee bean shaped like a burger.
British Airways – used a stick of rock, a typical British sweet which touches on British identity and patriotism.
Apple – When Apple first introduced Face time, their version of video calling, instead of simply saying look at this, we now have video calling, they showed a dad talking to his daughter and stated look at this emotion moment.
I would like to do something funny, shocking showing  a moment which creates suspense.
Perhaps something silly like selling ice cream to Eskimo’s.
